Absolutely True…

I didn’t get a lot done today…at least not in terms of actual writing.  I did, however, do a lot of thinking.  I like to think of revision as re-visioning.  It’s a process during which you have an opportunity to really envision your work anew.  So, that’s what I was thinking about today.

I am working on fleshing out certain relationships.  Sometimes, I feel like my writing is Hemingway-esque…only the tip of the iceberg.  The meat is all that is unspoken and unsaid.  But for this particular genre, that type of style does not do.   I have to make plain the subtleties that lie beneath the mercurial waters.

Aside from the writing and the thinking, I did tend to some business, and I am beginning to prepare for my west coast jaunt (more about that tomorrow).

Until then…
